Police are searching for three people who committed a daring robbery in a hypermarket in Sandanski around 9 pm on Wednesday, the Blagoevgrad Interior Ministry announced.
Some 30,000 BGN were stolen during the attack and the money was kept in a safe.
The thieves entered the office, where the volume of business was stored, overcoming fences, firmly built to protect property, broke into several doors of the store and broke into the safe in question.
“No violence was committed. Mental influence was exerted on one of the employees to respect him verbally in order to take the amount of money. The data is for 3 people. The empathy of other people is being clarified,” said Dimitar Krastev, deputy director of the Ministry of the Interior. Blagoevgrad.
They did not enter the main hall, where there were still customers at the time.
“It is important to note that no citizen was injured in the crime. We have no information that the perpetrators used firearms or melee. The entire resource of the Ministry of the Interior was mobilized, and we were immediately treated by the General Police. Krastev added.

People say that this is the most profitable store in town and the assumption that there was a lot of money in the register is the reason for the theft.

Security camera footage from the area was confiscated, but police have not yet released information on whether the thieves were filmed. The prosecution is also working on the case. The store is now open to customers and is operating normally.
