The Illinois governor has announced that there are 1,293 cases of coronary virus infection and 81 deaths in the past 24 hours, reports BG VOICE.
Most died in the Cook district, where many Bulgarians live. The average age of the deceased in the last 24 hours is 65 years.
The total number of officially registered cases in the state is less than 20,000, and the number of deceased is 677. The number of deceased men is greater than that of women: 389 men and 285 women.
The governor said he was not sure when there would be a response on whether to extend the permanent order on the house, but said he was monitoring the situation every day.
He added that for residents to come back to life, there must be widespread testing opportunities, sufficient antibody testing, and a contact tracking system if a new case of an infected person is recorded.
