We see a series of managerial failures. This government does not exist. Yesterday we had to present the first draft of the national recovery plan to the EC. Before that, it had to be presented to the public. This was said by MEP Radan Kanev on BTV.
It depends on this plan whether we will be the last or believe that we can be a rich country with a modern economy. There is no debate with the expert communities, with politicians, with European partners, with the private financial sector.
The holes can be plugged with taxpayer money. But to get out of the guardian role, for every euro, there must be 10 euros from the private sector. In Greece and Romania they have a tour ahead: their plans are discussed in their societies. Our prime minister, meanwhile, is sitting in front of a jug of brandy. It can be original. But during that time, the Greek prime minister showed his plan to Harvard. Everybody chooses wherever they are The protest is justified because people see failure in the two important areas of the economy and health.
Credit rating is used to finance yourself. The big investors are not here, we all know that. We just missed Microsoft’s new project, as IT standards in Greece are much lower than ours.
Big investors read the EP resolutions. It describes problems that are known to millions of Bulgarians. People come to Bulgaria and are faced with the fact that there may be court decisions that the administration and the authorities do not enforce. For example, the movie “The eight dwarfs.” There are very similar scenarios. The lack of investment in our country has its reasons.
There is a debate in the EP, during which the EPP concluded that Bulgaria has a corruption and justice problem. The EPP was divided during the vote. The Bulgarian representatives are committed to Bulgaria complying with the recommendations to decentralize the prosecution and have control over the Attorney General. The Attorney General comes out and says this is nonsense.
I have heard Geshev’s thesis that it is very difficult to prove crimes. All convictions that are not for political corruption are easy to gather as evidence. The Bulgarian court issued a record number of acquittals. There is a man in the prosecution, appointed by the mafia, who says who to hit and who to forgive. The prosecution has no right of criminal initiative. If you want, you can offer to pass sentences directly through Peevski’s yellow media.
The proposals to consider criminal cases in two instances, why? There is no logic for serious crimes, this proposal is absurd. How will you use the evidence collected in violation of the law? This is a worldwide requirement for no evidence to be manufactured! But these people are not listening to what they are saying! Most prosecutors do their job precisely when they are not under pressure. The problem is that corruption crimes are covered up or people who have done nothing are blamed.
