Kiril Rashkov, Tsar Kiro, was buried as an Egyptian pharaoh. They buried him in a specially built mausoleum, like his son’s. Along with the Romani baron, suitcases with his personal effects, gold for thousands of levies, furniture and even his golden throne were brought into the room. The dimensions of the tomb are 5/3/3 meters, reported trafficnews.bg.
Next to the armchair there was a luxurious table, which the relatives filled with cigars and their favorite drinks. The trays were filled with plates and, to splendor, the tomb was decorated with replicas of the golden treasure of Panagyurishte. After the ceremony, the entrance to the tomb will take place.
Glowing vehicles had clogged the parking lot of the Central Cemetery. Tsar Kiro’s coffin was brought in in a limousine escorted by black jeeps.
The last time Tsar Kiro was sent with an orchestra. The hearse procession passed from his home in downtown Maritsa Luiza Blvd. His closest people walked the distance to the cemetery, despite the pouring rain. For a few minutes, the orchestra did not stop playing from folk performances to pop-folk performances. Even the famous Azis song “Habibi” sounded from the accordion and saxophone in the main alley of the cemetery.
More than 100 people honored Rashkov and came with flowers to bid him farewell. Special was the attitude of the afflicted towards his son Angel, who will probably “inherit” him on the throne.
