Immunization against COVID-19 of frontline humans continues. It was clear that at the moment there is no evidence that any of those vaccinated have shown a side effect, reports Nova TV.

In his televised appearance, the president of the National Operations Staff, Major General Ventsislav Mutafchiiski, commented that he was obliged to be vaccinated because an example of the outcome of the pandemic had to be given.

He reported that yesterday 80 people were vaccinated at the Military Medical Academy and no allergic reactions were found after the vaccine. “Most of the people I heard from have no complaints. We have no allergic reactions, which have been reported quite frequently and which are normal with any preparation and medication,” Maj. Gen. Mutafchiiski said.

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov affirmed that the salvation of Bulgaria and Europe passes through vaccination. He predicts that the vaccine will be a remediation and that at first emissaries will pass by to scare people, then they will see how good it is.

“The measures are timely, very precise, respecting as much as possible the freedom, the rights of the people, their movement. The results of both mortality and morbidity have decreased,” said the prime minister.

He noted that the pressure on intensive care units has also eased. According to him, more and more doctors will explain to people, different vaccines will come. “Until then, those with between 70 and 80 thousand will be put in the front line,” added Borissov.

At Alexandrovska Hospital doctors, nurses and male nurses were vaccinated.

In Dobrich, the first vaccine was administered this morning at 8.30 am at the immunization office of the Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI) – Dobrich. RHI-Dobrich Director Dr. Svetla Angelova commented that the district has vaccines for 130 medical professionals.

“The organization was done at the end of the month. Yesterday we reaffirmed this with colleagues who have expressed their desire to be among the first to be immunized. As there are few people, only 130 people, and because of the vaccine, it has already been taken out of the freezer and counting five days from yesterday, not many days.

We have distributed ourselves in two vaccination offices to make things happen: in our RHI and in the General Hospital. Both offices will be attended by doctors who are from different medical institutions in the district, with priority, of course, being the two medical institutions that have COVID rooms, ”said Dr. Angelova.

Over the next four days, the two immunization offices in Dobrich will continue to operate. A schedule has been prepared and all physicians who have expressed a wish and confirmed it will be invited at the appropriate time to visit the immunization offices.

Immunization of medical personnel against COVID-19 in Burgas continues. The points where the vaccination is carried out are a total of 7, 6 of which are located on the territory of the city of Burgas. They are located in the building of the Regional Health Inspection, in the University Hospital – Burgas, in the Oncology Center Complex, in the Hospital – Karnobat and in three private hospitals.

A total of 250 doctors cover the vaccination schedule prepared for the region. At UMBAL – Burgas, the vaccine must be administered to a total of 75 members of the medical staff. Yesterday the procedure was performed on 25 of them.

Today and tomorrow, the remaining doctors, nurses, paramedics and ambulance drivers will be immunized. At the Complex Oncology Center, the estimated number of medical staff to be vaccinated is 25.

The first vaccines against COVID-19 arrived in the Veliko Tarnovo district. They were handed over to the city’s Regional Health Inspectorate. From there, they were assigned to the hospitals where the immunization will take place. The vaccines were accepted by Regional Governor Prof. Lyubomira Popova and RHI Director Dr. Evgenia Nedeva. A total of seven immunization offices have been opened in the district.

The first 40 vials of the COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Ruse from Veliko Tarnovo. They were brought in a car from the Regional Health Inspection, accompanied by a police escort, and everything necessary regarding the non-violation of the refrigeration circuit was also observed.

The vaccines, which will reach a total of 200 doctors, nurses, orderlies and other first-line health personnel, were personally received by the regional governor Galin Grigorov and the director of the Regional Health Inspectorate, Dr. Margarita Nikolova. So far, 1,202 Ruse doctors have expressed a desire to get vaccinated.

Five doctors were vaccinated in the city. The first medical institution where vaccination was carried out was the Medica Ruse University Hospital, and the first doctor to be vaccinated there was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Regional Medical College of the Bulgarian Medical Union, Dr. Tsvetan Raichinov.

After that, the vaccine was administered to the cardiologists Dr. Tsonyu Stefanov and Dr. Panayot Panayotov, to the obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Ventsislav Nestorov of the University Hospital “Medica Ruse” and to Dr. Petya Nestorova, who works at the Health Center Mental.

At the moment, vaccination rooms have been opened in Ruse in each of the four hospitals, where patients with coronavirus infection are treated. Two more will open: at DCC-1 and a second office at Medica Ruse University Hospital.

The director of the Regional Health Inspection, Dr. Margarita Nikolova, announced in a briefing that the manipulation will later be carried out by general practitioners. She added that she would also be vaccinated, but that she would not be among the first 200 doctors to receive a dose of the vaccine.
