By order of the mayor of the Sozopol municipality, the construction of a swimming pool was stopped and the removal of an illegal fence on private property in the Budjaka area was ordered.
The property belongs to businessman Ivo Prokopiev, editor of Dnevnik and Capital.
After an inspection commissioned by the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) on illegal constructions and access to a beach on the Black Sea coast, attached to the National Construction Control Directorate and carried out by RDNSK-Burgas, the Municipality was contacted of Sozopol. The representatives of the municipality have established violations of the provisions of art. 157, para. 1 and para. 2 of the Spatial Planning Act (SPA) – during the construction of an “Outdoor Swimming Pool” on a private property in the Budjaka area, the land of the city of Sozopol, for which a law was drawn up to establish an administrative offense.
Based on these findings and following an administrative procedure, the mayor of the Sozopol municipality has issued an order to suspend the execution of the construction and installation works at the construction site. Construction can continue only with the permission of the administrative body that issued the order, only after the reasons that led to the suspension of construction and the presentation of the corresponding evidence are eliminated. The order was served through the power of attorney of the owner. This was announced by the prosecution.
The representatives of the municipality, on the same property, found the presence of an illegal construction – “Massive wall of a massive fence” with a height of two meters, built in violation of the issued building permit (RS). With another order and after a process, the mayor of Sozopol ordered the lifting of the illegal construction above the height of the plinth 0.60 m, according to the RS. After the order enters into force, an invitation will be sent to the owner for the voluntary execution of the removal, and failing that, a forced one will be carried out.
We remind you that by order of the VAP in July, August and September a series of inspections were carried out by the competent authorities: DNSK / RDNSK, municipalities and relevant ministries of illegal construction and beach access on the Black Sea coast .
