One of the greatest legends of the World Wrestling Federation in the 80s and 90s of the 20th century died at the age of 60 during a romantic vacation with his wife. Joseph Laurinaitis, better known by his racing nickname The Animal, made the beautiful gesture for their wedding anniversary.
He took his wife Kimberly to a resort on Oasis Beach, near Lake Missouri. Laurinaitis arranged everything according to the rules of romance. There was an excellent dinner, and on returning to the hotel room, he surprised his wife with a path of rose petals and a gift basket.
At that moment, the legendary fighter had a health problem and collapsed lifelessly on the bed. Kimberly tried to help him with heart massage and artificial respiration, but the ambulance team that arrived only confirmed the death of Joseph Laurinaitis.
An autopsy procedure has begun. According to a report by Missouri authorities, samples of Laurinaitis’s drugs were taken from the hotel room.
