The prosecution is checking whether the suitcase with human remains found near Radomir is related to the disappearance of a wanted young woman.

The suitcase and the remains were found between Radomir and the village of Nikolaevo on October 3, but were announced today. The find was found in some bushes near the river.

The identity of the victim has not been confirmed, but she is definitely a woman, the District Attorney’s Office in Pernik told bTV.

It is unclear if there is a connection between the discovery and the disappearance of 30-year-old Antonia Ventsislavova from the nearby town of Kopanitsa.

In the village of Nikolaevo in Radomir, they are shocked by the sinister find found in the bushes by the river.

The suitcase with strands of human hair and debris scattered around it was hidden and later dug up by animals.

“There is a suggestion that the human remains may have originated from the missing person being sought, and for whose disappearance a pre-trial process was initiated in the Pernik District Prosecutor’s Office for kidnapping,” said Albena Stoilova, spokesperson for the District Attorney’s Office.

The mother of the missing Antonia Ventsislavova handed over DNA samples to the police in the hope that the discovery had nothing to do with her daughter.

“I think what they found is not his remains. If they are hers, we will cry the rest of our lives, “said Antonia’s mother, Nelly Stoyneva.

The last time he heard from Antonia and her friend Lubomir on the phone was on January 7, and then their traces are lost.

Antonia’s friend is abroad. His father was concise and did not comment on the case. Antonia’s family claims that she did not take her belongings and that her only valuables are the silver earrings she was wearing before she disappeared.

If DNA evidence links the remains to Antonia’s disappearance, prosecutors will launch a murder investigation.
