Nikolay Panayotov was threatened some time ago by Yordan Petkov’s colleague Ivan Ivanov that “it will not exist.” He shared that a week before the act that he had received new threats. “I was threatened. I filed a complaint, but there was absolutely no result of this thing. A week before what happened, I alerted the institutions. I tried to contact the OD director of the Interior Ministry, but without success,” said Panayotov .
He added that on several occasions he had noticed that Ivan Ivanov and Yordan Petkov, known as Dancho Katadzhiyata, were walking through the service area and inspecting the site. But at the moment there is no way to show whether they are both perpetrators.
And at this time the security of the site has been increased. However, Panayotov insists that he will not stop testifying in the pre-trial proceedings against the two former police officers.
