Police stopped the driver who ran over and killed 34-year-old Julia Angelova near Sozopol and fled. However, he was released without charge for lack of sufficient evidence, 24 Chasa sources said.

The accident occurred on the night of July 26 on the Sozopol – Primorsko highway. Angelova was in a restaurant in Sozopol. He took a taxi to take her to the Arapya camp, where she stayed. However, he got out in the middle of the road after having a discussion with the driver about the amount of transportation. She was walking when a car hit her and she fled the scene.

A little later, a second car hit the woman and she immediately called 112.

Then they came to a car that is metallic gray. Its lid was crooked. The car was moving at high speed, the make and model were not immediately identified and the registration number was not visible.

After hard work, the police managed to find the car and detain its owner. He denied knowing anything. There were no traces of the impact on the car, there was no evidence that it had been repaired, although the police officers were convinced that the cover had been repaired. They then released the man after 24 hours without charge.

Julia, 34, left a 9-year-old half-orphaned girl who was supposed to go on vacation with her mother, but at the last minute the girl stayed with her father in Sofia. After the death of his mother, the boy went to a psychologist.
