Dozens of participants in the national conference of the Together movement, led by Alexander Tomov, blocked traffic on the capital’s Cherni Vrah Boulevard near the Hotel Marinela (better known as the Japanese). Their demands for the resignation of the Prime Minister and the Attorney General, BNR reports.
Earlier, the conference of the “Together for Change” movement decided to work to form a broad coalition of programs to take over the Bulgarian government and called on all political organizations supporting the protests to unite in the name of political change.
“Let the parties give way to civil society. Let us forget about political differences and leadership ambitions. Let those who made mistakes in the past correct themselves and overcome old misconceptions,” said one of the participants in the blockade.
Since Saturday night, the civic project “Democracy and Law” set up a tent in front of the presidency and began to collect signs of corruption, which it will send to the European institutions.
