Despite the announcement by the “Poison Trio” of the daily protests in Sofia, which will be replaced by thematic actions, today discontents gathered in the traditional place, the square in front of the presidency, BNR reported. They also organized a blockade for about an hour at the Orlov Most intersection.
Some of those present explained that they would continue to meet every night, despite the request of some of the main organizers of the “Trio Veneno” protests. Most of those gathered had participated in previous protests and their demands remained unchanged: the resignation of the government and the attorney general. The mothers of the initiative “The system kills us” were also part of today’s protest.
Today was the 117th day of protests. The “Poison Trio” explained the change in tactic with the desire to preserve the ability of Bulgarian doctors and nurses to cope with the wave of coronavirus patients.
