The so-called “poisonous trio” – the owner of the fake news sites Arman Babikyan, the sculptor Velislav Minekov and the lawyer Nikolay Hadjigenov – will have their envoy in Brussels to coordinate a protest in front of the European Parliament building on Monday. All three declared themselves organizers of the 88-day protests over the resignations of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev.
Velislav Minekov will be in Brussels on Monday. Who will speak first with Bulgarians living in the Belgian capital and with journalists, and then will coordinate a protest in front of the EP building. Within this time a debate should take place on the rule of law in Bulgaria.
The debate on our country is scheduled on the EP’s agenda for the afternoon session of October 5, which begins at 5:00 p.m. Brussels time. Half an hour before, the protest against the government should begin in front of the EP.

MEPs will also debate a resolution against Bulgaria, which was adopted a week ago by LIBE’s Civil Rights Commission. GERB MEPs described their text as left-wing and full of falsehoods. Behind the preparation of the resolution are Bulgarian representatives in the EP such as Elena Yoncheva and Radan Kanev. The parliamentary debate on Bulgaria was announced by Yoncheva long before the program of the European Parliament session was published.
The fourth great popular uprising against the government, announced by the “poisonous trio”, took place with a fairly small presence. This is what the organizers call the big protests, which they prepare periodically. Unlike those of September 2 and 10, the protest on Saturday night in the capital was quite small.
Outrage on social media and accusations against protesters that they have crossed the line of good taste sparked a scene played by two girls on the yellow cobblestones. They had made a special voodoo doll of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, who was ritually killed.
