The police arrested the son of a large businessman from the Plovdiv region. Yesterday, in the May Day neighborhood, the “Debar” traffic police stopped a Mercedes car to inspect it. It turned out that Borislav Minev was behind the wheel, the son of the owner of a dairy company, the regional edition “Maritsa” reported.
Minev was pulled over by traffic police on Friday for a routine check while driving a car with tinted windows. An inspection followed. It turned out that his book had been confiscated a month ago due to administrative violations in Chirpán. The police insisted on checking him for drugs, but he flatly refused. He said he wouldn’t give a blood sample. Due to the refusals, he was taken to the Parvomay police station and detained for 24 hours.
The case was reported to the Prosecutor’s Office.
Borislav Minev’s name entered the criminal chronicles six years ago, TrafficNews recalls, when the head of the local district administration in Parvomay – Vasil Nalbantov was accused of spreading an umbrella over criminals and covering up crimes. The prosecutor’s office later announced that Minev Jr. had struck a woman in Parvomay, but another man was later named as the driver. As a thank you, the police chief bought an expensive car. Then the father, owner of “Bor Chvor”, categorically denied the accusations.
