The first part of the Bulgarian Cup matches of the preliminary round ended, and the spectators witnessed serious surprises. Varna’s Spartak eliminated Lokomotiv Sofia at home, after beating them 2: 1 and expelling Sofia from the tournament. Paskalev scored both goals for Varna and Mario Petkov equalized the score for the “railroad”.
Although difficult, Pirin Blagoevgrad eliminated Rodopa Smolyan with 2: 0, as both goals fell in the last 10 minutes. First in 81, Miroslav Pushkarov opened in Rhodope city, and Alexander Dyulgerov doubled at the end of the match.

Thus, Spartak Varna will host the elite Arda in the next stage, and Pirin will host Beroe, while Zagorets will face the winner of the Bulgarian Cup – Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
