The protest in Sofia: Europe heard us!

The 85th night of anti-government demonstrations in the capital passed peacefully, BNR reported.

Traditionally, after the national anthem, some people marched in the usual procession from the triangle of power on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. to Orlov Most, where they briefly blocked traffic at the intersection, which is now normal.

At first, the protest was small, but then the number of people increased.

Earlier, Arman Babikyan announced from the rostrum the results of the vote in the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.


He read some points of the Commission’s decisions, which also reflect the protests in Bulgaria.

According to Poison Trio, the Commission’s resolution is the result of 85 days of discontent with the authorities.

The protesters responded with boos and chants: “resign.”

The comments from the rostrum were that: “Europe listens to the demands of the protest.”

The speakers expressed their expectations of a large-scale demonstration on Saturday, when the next edition of the so-called “Great Uprising of the People.”
