A prosecutor accused of exerting tax pressure received the “Giovanni Falcone” Grand Prize for Achievement in Justice. Angel Kanev is administrative deputy director of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office, and in recent years his name has been linked to some of the most scandalous and key cases: against the former Minister of Ecology Neno Dimov and the exiled businessman Vasil Bozhkov.

Kanev is one of the supervising prosecutors in the cases against Bozhkov.
