The president’s secretary general emphasizes that making false statements from the parliamentary rostrum for political gain is not a precedent, but it is extremely dishonest with citizens. The manipulations spread by the deputies destroy the last vestiges of confidence in the 44th National Assembly, whose authority is already severely compromised by the quality of its work, Dimitar Stoyanov wrote in an open letter.
According to the secretary general, adherence to the facts and an apology for mistakes are the mandatory first step in changing public opinion towards parliament.
