President Rumen Radev has undergone a new test for the coronavirus and the result remains negative. The reason was the positive test of his Polish colleague Andrzej Duda.
Although it is not clear where Duda got infected, he attended the Three Seas forum in Estonia last week.
There he met Rumen Radev, and later the Bulgarian president was quarantined. On the home front, he is still criticized for not announcing in time that he was in contact with the infected Air Force chief, Major General Dimitar Petrov.
The two tests of our head of state, one in Tallinn and the other in Sofia, came back negative.
Following the RHI regulations, today, October 25, I had another coronavirus test, due to the news of the positive test yesterday from the President of Poland after his participation in the summit of the “Three Seas” initiative in Tallinn on October 19. “Today’s test result is negative. I have no symptoms or complaints,” Radev announced on Facebook.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov was identified with a coronavirus. He is in home treatment, he has a general malaise, but he will continue to carry out his functions.
“Although the RHI officially lifted my quarantine, on Friday I postponed all public meetings and events for the next few days. After two PCR tests today I am positive for COVID-19. In general I have a general malaise, at this time at my discretion of the doctors I stay at home for treatment. All contacts with me have been sent to RHI. I am sure that, following the measures, we will manage together! “
In front of an RHI representative in Sofia, the Prime Minister pointed to the Minister of Energy Temenujka Petkova, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rosen Zhelyazkov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev, the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov , the Chief of Health Inspection of the State Assoc. They are all in quarantine.
Through the US embassy, Borissov also briefed the representatives of the US delegation, who were visiting Bulgaria and met with him on Friday.
