Apparently there are fewer policemen and protesters in the area of the presidency and the buildings of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) than in the previous “Great Uprising of the People” protest on 2 September. Police have surrounded the National Assembly building (the former party house), but they are only lined up, without shields or helmets, unlike the discontent of a week ago, when tensions escalated during the day. The checkpoints, which were announced yesterday by the Interior Ministry in a briefing, represent known inspections from previous nights when entering the protest zone: bags for dangerous sharps are inspected. What is new today is that in front of the police in the National Assembly building with a red and white security tape, which can be easily crossed or torn. However, only a few protesters do.

Different people gathered today to protest against Prime Minister Borissov and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev: young people, the elderly, families with pets, protest activists such as the “System Kills Us”, the “Revival” movement, the BOEC movement, politicians: Rumen Petkov from ABV, MPs from BSP, leader of “Izpravise.BG” Maya Manolova, and an official notification in the protest municipality was also filed by “Yes Bulgaria”.
It has long been impressive that the protest has its own recognizable posters: T-shirts with the inscription “Mutri van”, stickers with the faces of politicians and the inscriptions “Renunciation”, “Great Uprising of the People” and others.
