A true Agatha Christie-style mystery erupted on the small Tuscan island of Capraia, which has 200 inhabitants. For some time now, a series of robberies has been shaking the tiny island in the Tuscan archipelago, which no aliens have set foot on for months due to the pandemic. This means that the thief is one of the inhabitants of the island.

Most of the robber’s hits occur at night. According to the newspaper Tireno, the latter is 60,000 euros. The victims of the theft so far have been the deputy mayor, the owner of the tobacco shop, two fishermen, the bartender and a teacher. According to the neighbors, the thief is a local, since he obviously knows the habits of his victims, as well as all the corners of the island. The three carabinieri on the island are investigating, but so far they have not found any news or bones of the thief. In his last hit, the thief stole 60,000 euros; these were the lifetime savings of its merchant owner. They were locked in a safe because there is no bank on the island, only an ATM and the video camera next to it does not work. Virtually everyone is now suspicious of everyone on the island, as in the Agatha Christie crime.

Until the beginning of the current mystery, life on the island was peaceful. Until 1986, Capraia had a prison colony, but after its closure, the island remained home to just 200 people. In summer they become 400.
