In our country, 1,212 new cases of coronavirus have been identified. This means that the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Bulgaria during the last 24 hours has increased compared to Monday, when it was 1,115, and Sunday, 182.
However, the number of tests carried out on Tuesday was higher: they were 13,228, of which 6,153 were PCR (770 infected) and 7,075 were antigen tests (442 infected). For comparison, a total of 11,637 tests were performed on Monday and 2,663 on Sunday.
Unfortunately, in the last 24 hours there have been 62 deaths from coronavirus, reports the Unified Information Portal. Thus, the total number of victims rose to 9,482.
In the last 24 hours, 459 people have been cured. The number of patients in our country already reaches 226,061, active cases are 22,065.
A total of 194,514 people were cured. 3,129 people were hospitalized, 266 are in the intensive care unit.
