Then they call a private ambulance. From there they are told that they need to find a place in a hospital and they will transport the patient. Followed by a call from relatives in the hospitals. After they found a location around 10:10 p.m., the private ambulance arrived, but he was barely breathing.

The state ambulance arrived around 10:30 p.m. to determine the death of the young man.

The Sofia Emergency Service commented that unfortunately this has been going on for weeks.

“The last work shift has 418 calls, 200 of which are signs of coronavirus. After each direction, the ambulance is returned and disinfected in 50-60 minutes. It is absolutely impossible to drive,” said Katya Sungarska, spokeswoman for the Sofia Emergency Department. , in front of bTV.

According to her, the signal for this case was received at 6:41 p.m. and the ambulance arrived at the home at 10:23 p.m.

The Ministry of Health is launching an investigation into the case.

At the same time, the number of people hospitalized is increasing, including those in intensive care units.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Bulgaria, the number of doctors infected with coronavirus is 832 and the number of nurses, 748. A total of 2,268 medical personnel have been infected with Covod-19 since March, according to the Unified Information Portal.
