The Bulgarian soccer team recorded a third consecutive defeat, losing 0: 2 when they visited Finland in the Nations League. The team played a weak game and created almost nothing interesting in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
The precise ones for Finland were Robert Taylor in the 52nd minute and Fredrik Jensen in the 65th.
In the Nations League, Bulgaria only has one point recorded in the first match, after which they lost to Wales with a late goal.
Three days before the visit to Finland, the Bulgarian footballers also lost to Hungary in a playoff match to qualify for the European Championship.
Coach Georgi Dermendzhiev made eight changes to the starting lineup. Only Anton Nedyalkov, Vasil Bozhikov and Kristian Malinov kept their match seats with Hungary.
The game did not change much, since before the break the Bulgarian team made only one accurate shot, but it was not even that dangerous. On the other hand, goalkeeper Martin Lukov had to intervene twice.
After the break, Bulgaria started well and stayed in front of the Finland field for a few minutes. However, the hosts took advantage and took the lead.

In the 52nd minute, the Bulgarian defense was not well oriented as they crossed to the right, the ball was cleared for Teemu Puki. The center forward was unable to shoot, but instead his teammate Taylor from two meters did not make a mistake – 1: 0.
After the goal Dermendzhiev resorted to changes, but they did not give a positive effect.
In the 67th minute, Finland scored a second goal and decided the match. After a touch from the left, Alexander Tsvetkov made room for Jensen and fired undisturbed. Martin Lukov touched the ball, but it still flew into his net for the second time.
In group 4, which is Bulgaria, the leader is Wales with 7 points. Finland is in second place with 6, followed by Ireland with two and the Bulgarians with one point.
