A mysterious monolith has appeared on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, and similar sites have previously been discovered in the United States and Romania, Sky News reported.

The British monolith was accidentally discovered by local resident Tom Dunford while walking the dog with his girlfriend. On popular Compton Beach, he discovered a mysterious monolith with a mirrored silver surface that reflects light.

“I know all these monolith stories that have been reported lately, so I recognized it right away. The man who put it there knows what he’s doing. He (the monolith) really does reflect the light. I don’t believe in conspiracy theories. Dunford said.

The monolith is about three meters high. It is not yet known who installed it.
This is the fourth monolith of its kind to appear in the world recently.
