The husband of Krassimira Kukovska, 21, from Begovo village Kaloyan, who was found dead in her home, is accused of killing her. The original version of the young woman’s death was a suicide.
The Plovdiv District Prosecutor’s Office has charged Lyubomir Petrov with involuntary manslaughter and he is currently in detention for 72 hours. There is a pending application in court for his permanent detention.
So far, inspections and an investigative experiment have been carried out in the case, witnesses have been questioned, physical evidence has been found and expert opinions have been appointed. The investigation of the case continues, being in its active phase, BNR reported.
The signal for the incident was given by Petrov on September 11 at 112, who said he found the body of his wife, who was shot with a rifle in their home.

He and his two sons were not home at the time of the incident. Most likely, a family scandal is the cause of the tragedy.
