Requirements for sales management software introduced two years ago will be removed. This also applies to the requirements for manufacturers and distributors of these software products, who will no longer be required to license them to the NRA. This can be seen in the changes proposed in the VAT Law by the Ministry of Finance.
If the texts are adopted and voted on in parliament, they will end a two-year saga in which companies invest hundreds of millions of levs without much result, Capital said.
As early as the end of July, the ministry announced it was dropping the highly controversial H-18 ordinance out of business. Then Kiril Ananiev took office.
The publication admits that many companies can sue the state because in the meantime they have invested considerable sums to meet these requirements.
As of today, the ministry recognizes that despite the discussions and changes made, there are still rules that lead to contradictory interpretations of the terms of the law and ordinance.
Ordinance H-18 has more than 260 pages and more than 40 applications and is not easy to implement even with the best wishes of the company, the publication adds.
