The Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov is in quarantine.
He announced on his Facebook account that he had isolated himself after the confirmation ofPrime Minister Boyko Borissov said he tested positive for coronavirus.

He revealed that he has a general malaise, but at the discretion of the doctors he remains in home treatment.
“In view of Prime Minister Borissov’s positive COVID-19 test, I consider it my duty to inform you: my last contact with the prime minister was on Friday. As of today, as soon as I understand, I isolate myself and consider myself quarantined. I will do a PCR test asap“Angelov wrote on the social network.
Today, the SRHI announced that the Prime Minister had notified them and an epidemiological study is currently underway.
The Prime Minister also briefed the representatives of the American delegation through the US Embassy, who were visiting Bulgaria and met with him on Friday.
He also appointed Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova, Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rosen Zhelyazkov, Deputy Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev, Minister of Energy. Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov, Head of Health Inspection of the Associated State Prof. Angel Kunchev, Denitsa Jeleva – Head of the Political Cabinet of the Prime Minister and Sevdalina Arnaudova from GERB headquarters.
All people who have been in contact with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in recent days will be quarantined, according to the order of the Minister of Health.
