Make it clear when the children return to class.
Today, the Minister of Education, Krassimir Valchev, issued an order to continue online education for students from 5th to 12th grade until January 31, 2021. This was announced by the Regional Department of Education in the city of Sofia to the directors of the capital’s schools, BTA reported.
The order of Minister Valchev was issued in connection with the amendment of the order of the Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Kostadin Angelov, regarding the extension of the term of temporary anti-epidemic measures introduced in the territory of Bulgaria until January 31, 2021.
“I order in the period between 04.01.2021 and 31.01.2021 the education of students from 5th to 12th grade, enrolled in the form of day, night, extramural, individual and combined education and in an education system dual, which is carried out, as far as possible, remotely in an electronic environment using the means of information and communication technologies, ”reads today’s order from Minister Krassimir Valchev.
He clarified that the order was issued due to the need to take measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, in order to guarantee the life and health of students, teachers and other school personnel.
Students in grades 1-4 will return for classroom training in schools beginning January 4, 2021.
