The Bulgarian Medical Union fully supported the new restrictive measures announced by the Minister of Health, Prof. Kostadin Angelov. This was clear from a statement distributed to the media. Medical Union hopes that they will be received in full as soon as possible.

“The suspension of the operation of the establishments, discos, malls, the termination of
Sporting events, seminars, excursions, competitions, congresses and all other measures are totally in favor of Bulgarian society and will allow us doctors and the health system to take a breather. Only in this way can the chain of contagion be broken, which has shown strong growth in recent weeks and has lost hundreds of lives. Let’s keep our distance, but let’s stick together in this battle! Time to unite in the name of life! ”The statement said.
Earlier today, the Health Minister proposed in a briefing to introduce the new measures on Friday.
