“It is a brutal attack on me. It was a great stress for my family,” said the mayor of Kaloyanovo, who confirmed that he had reached an agreement with the prosecution because he had no other option.
“They tricked me because I refused to donate blood to the ambulance, but I had to. I’m sorry I didn’t. One of the officers told me that if they took my blood, it would get worse. I trusted him. I told the court that I used it. because he had nothing more to say. “After we signed an agreement with the prosecutor’s office, it turned out he was driving under the influence of drugs,” Georgiev added.
According to the law, the Municipal Electoral Commission must decide whether the mayor should be removed from office.
