Security guards can now be low
Applicants must weigh at least 65 kilograms to enter the National Security Service (NSS). This provides for a change to the ordinance on military medical experience, proposed by Deputy Prime Minister Krassimir Karakachanov. Until now, the ordinance did not establish a weight requirement for security guards.
The guards can now be low, with a minimum adjustment height of 170 centimeters for men. Until now, the norm was 175 centimeters. If the candidate for a job at NSO wants to be a driver, the minimum height can be 165 centimeters.
The maximum height is also increasing and will now be 195 centimeters.
50 kilograms will be the minimum weight for women applying for a job in an NGO. Here, too, the minimum height falls from 168 to 160 centimeters, and the maximum becomes 190 centimeters.
Candidates for NSO jobs may wear glasses up to 1 diopter, depending on the change proposed by Karakachanov.
Job applicants in the military, if unsuitable, will have to wait at least six months before applying for a new certification, according to another change in the ordinance proposed by the deputy prime minister.
