Ryan Giggs announced to the four Manchester United players that they were never used to Sir Alex Ferguson as they were born winners and always did their best on the field.
The Welsh Red Devils legend described Sir Alex as a “skilled psychologist” who helped him win 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies during his 26-year career at Old Trafford.
Ferguson was known for his fierce confrontations with his players in the locker room. The most famous case is the back button, which split David Beckham’s eyebrow, and after similar scandals, Jaap Stam and Ruud van Nistelrooy left.
But according to Giggs, there were several names secured by Sara’s horse.
“There were three or four players he never yelled at,” the United record holder told beIN Sports.
Eric Cantona was one of them, and the others were Brian Robson, Roy Keane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Each of them was a winner in their own way. They were doing their work in the field, so there was no need for that.
There were games in which Eric did nothing. He didn’t score, he didn’t run like Carlos Tevez or Wayne Rooney, he didn’t use anything for the game. But very soon everything fell into place.

Giggs admitted that he was used to Ferguson multiple times and there were even times when he was fined for responding to the manager.
“Later in his career, however, he said he liked those moments because I showed that I cared. He would fine me again because he wanted to show who the boss was, but he also liked these arguments, as long as he didn’t cross the border,” Giggs added.
