Kaylee Coco in the new series
A black comedy with light drama and thriller elements, HBO throws itself on their show. The new series begins with a rather strange incident: how flight attendant Cassandra Bowden wakes up in her hotel room in Dubai after a night of drunkenness. And next to him he sees a corpse. Cassandra has no idea what happened the night before and what this dead man is doing next to her.
He never plucked up the courage to call the police and continued his day as if nothing had happened. He leaves his hotel room, goes to the airport, gets on the plane with the other flight attendants and pilots, and sets off. But when she arrives in New York, the FBI agents greet her and ask her about her last stay in Dubai. Cassandra has no idea what happened there. And he begins to wonder if it is possible that she killed that dead man.
The series “The Stewardess” is based on Chris Bohalyan’s bestseller of the same name about how life can change in a few hours.
The lead role in the 8-episode production is young star Kaylee Coco, known for another television comedy: “The Big Bang Theory.”
Kaylee may still be 35, but she already has 30 years of show business experience. She was only 6 years old when she appeared on camera as an actress and as a model.
Participate in at least 6 commercials for Barbie dolls. She also acts as a tennis player, coaching sports between the ages of 3 and 16. In addition to all her commitments as a model and on the court, she has to be home schooled and her parents have to take on the role of her teachers. Thanks to them, Kaylee graduated from high school at the age of 16 and later focused primarily on acting.
She made her breakthrough with the role of Penny on The Big Bang Theory. He appeared in it from the beginning in 2007 and was among the main actors until the end of the series. On his set, he meets one of his great loves: his colleague Johnny Galeki. The two have been together for almost 2 years, with no one around them and without the audience knowing of their relationship. When they part, they are still friends.
The actress has a marriage behind her back: on December 31, 2013 she married professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting. Less than two years later, the two announced that they had decided to divorce.
After the split, Kaylee says she was truly disappointed during the marriage and is unlikely to take that step again. But when her new lover Carl Cook asks if she wants to marry him on his 32nd birthday, November 30, 2017, she immediately says yes. As of June 30, 2018, Kaylee and Carl are happily married.
Filming of “The Stewardess” with her participation began in November 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand, and then the team continued their work in New York in December. The coronavirus pandemic halted the series in March. The team made the last shots at the end of the summer, and now Bulgarian viewers can watch “The Stewardess” every Monday starting at 9pm on HBO.
