The first case of coronavirus in Bulgaria was discovered in late January in a young man. He had a negative PCR test and the disease was detected by X-rays. This was revealed by pulmonologist Dr. Alexander Simidchiev, who showed photos of the lungs of his patients. He demonstrated his X-ray image and how the disease developed.

“I often have patients where we fight the effects of the coronavirus. That is why I defend the thesis with such passion that we must prevent disease. Of the eight patients, only two recovered very quickly. For the other two we cannot return the change, they have very serious consequences ”, explained the pulmonologist.
According to him, the good news is that with each passing day new facts are being discovered about the fight against the coronavirus, as well as the approval of two vaccines against it. According to him, there is nothing to fight the virus.

“It is not wearing masks, it is not distance, it is not the vaccine. We need to take a comprehensive approach to this problem. This is a virus with only one purpose: to adapt as much as possible to continue to spread. Only our joint efforts, such as the intelligence and the possibility of technology will lead to success, ”said the pulmonologist.
Dr. Simidchiev stressed that vaccines should not be given to sick people.
“We cannot build herd immunity. The verb we build means we are doing something active. If we let the infection rage, it is not building immunity, but leaving the infection,” said the pulmonologist.
