Vitosha Bistritsa’s team ends with its participation in the second level of our soccer league. The players of the team were informed that the “Tigers” will not participate in the championship, as well as in the tournament for the Bulgarian Cup. Bistrita residents will continue to work at the academy for children and youth, the club confirmed.

Vitosha Bistritsa was going to visit Chernomorets Balchik in the Cup tournament match, and on Saturday she had to travel for a match with Neftohimik in Burgas. The second league has already started with one less team, after Dunav Ruse did not start participating. A few days ago, Lokomotiv Gorna Oryahovitsa also announced that it was in poor financial condition and the future was unclear.
Last year, the team left the Bulgarian football elite after several years of being among the best, but poor results and management problems sent the team to the Second League. Over the years, players like Emil Gargorov and Daniel Peev have joined the team.
