Since Friday, March 13, it is not what it used to be, Bulgarian consumers joke online, because the day you gained international fame for bringing misfortunes, a state of emergency was declared in our country due to the coronavirus. What awaits us on Friday, November 13, that is, today, they wonder, posting funny states on the Internet.
Fans of conspiracy theories immediately found another resemblance between the two months to “prove” that they foreshadowed a bad change. In addition to containing Friday the 13th, in late March and early November we moved the hands of our clocks. “Perhaps we will return to our original configuration before the pandemic,” some suggest.
On social media, however, they look at the day primarily with a sense of humor. Superstitions and conspiracies take a back seat or are the subject of ironic comments. On the Internet, the day is often associated with the protagonist of the horror film series “Friday the 13th” Jason. Now, however, almost no one is afraid of him.
More and more photos show the masked Jason, who sadly says: “When is your day to be scary, but everyone is more afraid of the coronavirus.” He is in another, but this time he receives a call from the tearful Kim Kardashian, who tells him: “Friday the 13th is a normal day for me, considering that every day of the year was a disaster.”
In another photo, someone playfully donned Jason’s disposable protective mask, reminding him that no matter how scary it is, he has to follow the rules in a pandemic. According to one of the most common superstitions, Friday the 13th brings very bad luck if a black cat passes your way. That’s why someone has come up with a clever way to make everyone around you maintain a social distance: tie your black cat to a bib and take her for a walk.
Others joke that there are things much scarier than the stuffed animal that crosses your path on Friday the 13th, as well as on Saturday the 14th, to be back at work.
