The Catalan police today put an end to an unauthorized New Year’s rave party that lasted about 40 hours with the participation of some 300 people in a hangar near Barcelona, ​​which was seriously affected by the new coronavirus epidemic, reported AFP , cited by BTA.

Police said on Twitter that they would take criminal action against the organizers and all participants. The fine for participating in the party 30 km northeast of Barcelona will be more than 3,000 euros.

“The three organizers have been arrested and will soon be tried,” police added.

For them, the fine could exceed 600,000 euros.

Hundreds of police officers and a helicopter participated in the operation. The images of the police operation show that the uniformed men, with helmets and shields, clashed with the most aggressive participants of the party.



In France, another unauthorized rave party ended this morning, starting Thursday night near the western city of Rennes with 2,500 participants, many from abroad. The police have produced more than 1,200 acts of rape and the equipment has been seized.
