September is July! Hoteliers on the southern Black Sea coast are adamant about this. This weekend the tourist centers of the Burgas region are full of tourists. In Pomorie yesterday it was impossible to reserve seats, in Burgas there were tens of thousands on the three largest beaches: Burgas-North, Burgas-Central and Kraimorie beach. And further south: Chernomorets, Sozopol, Primorsko, Lozenets and Tsarevo, everything was booked weeks ago. The industry is enjoying an extremely strong weekend and expectations are for the end of summer to last until September 22-23.
Climatologist Prof. Georgi Rachev insists that temperatures in Burgas will stay above 25 degrees at least until September 19, and then gradually drop by several degrees, giving business optimism to continue the season. Kraimorie Beach concessionaire Nikolay Dimitrov insisted that the strip’s lifeguards will work until the end of September, who will also be on duty in October.
At the same time, today on the Bulgarian-Turkish border near Malko Tarnovo, a kilometer-long queue has formed. Hundreds of Burgas citizens have decided to take advantage of the day off and the relaxed conditions to travel to our southern neighbor and have gone to the market, writes “Flagman.bg”. We remind you that as of this week, all travel restrictions to and from Turkey have been lifted.
