In September 2017, three men stole a collection vehicle in the Ovcha Kupel district of Sofia. The perpetrators threatened the security guards of the armored vehicle and took BGN 400,000.
In March 2018, four people stole a collection vehicle in Pleven. More than 200,000 BGN was taken from the turnover of a large hypermarket. Later the money was found.
