In connection with the extension of intensified anti-epidemic measures in the country against the spread of COVID-19 and the reduction of passenger flow, public transport lines in Plovdiv on weekdays continue to be served by around 20 percent less of buses until January 31, 2021, as was the case. from November 30 to the present. An order for this has been issued by the acting mayor of the municipality Todor Chonov, announced the OP “Organization and control of transport.”

8 buses will run on lines № 9, 12, 15, 17, 18, 21, 26, 29, 99 and 222, 7 buses – on lines №4, 6, 11, 24, 27, 37, 66 and 116, 6 buses – on lines №7, 10, 20 and 44. Lines №36 and 113 will be served by 5 buses each, and №16, 25 and 93 – by 4 cars each. 3 buses – instead of 4, as it is so far, they will fulfill the daily schedule of line №22. Instead of 11 buses, 10 cars will circulate on line №1.

The OP “Organization and Control of Transport” continues to monitor the flow of passengers on a daily basis and, if necessary, the number of buses will be increased, as happened in line №1: initially 9 cars were launched, but these days it has been turned into 10.
