Maria Tsancarova has refused to succeed Anton Hekimyan on bTV’s morning block because of her two children. She was the most coveted name for Hekimyan’s deputy, who is already the head of television news, but after much deliberation he turned down the offer. Tsancarova is the mother of two boys, ages 3 and 2. She realized that working the morning block was extremely obsessive, difficult, and would separate her from her children.
