West Bromwich Albion surprised Chelsea in a spectacular match at Stamford Bridge. The “Thrushes” inflicted Thomas Tuchel’s first loss at the head of the Londoners with 5: 2.

Mateusz Pereira (45 + 2 ‘, 45 + 4’), Callum Robinson (63 ‘, 90 + 1’) and Mbaye Dian (68 ‘) scored for success, while Christian Pulisic (27’) was right for the “blues “and Mason Mount (71 ‘).

The game started better for the hosts, who found the result, but after half an hour Thiago Silva left his team with one man less.

Sam Allardyce’s players made the most of their numerical advantage and scored 4 goals at Mandy’s door.

Before today’s clash, the Londoners had not conceded a goal in their last 7 matches, confirming them in the Top 4.

The UBA registered their first success in 3 games and for the first time this season they scored four goals in 90 minutes. However, the “thrushes” remain in the penultimate position of the classification with only 21 points.

Chelsea continue their battle for the Top 4 of the Premier League, as Londoners have a 51-point lead, but also a game more than 5th West Ham. If the Hammers beat Wolverhampton, they will knock the Blues out of fourth place

The hosts started hesitantly and made some mistakes on defense, which could cause them problems early in the game. However, the “Thrushes” could not take advantage of their opportunities and little by little Chelsea took control of the game.

The Londoners created their first danger in front of the rival goal in the 12th minute, when Marcos Alonso was found in the penalty area. The Spaniard fired at the ground diagonally, but Sam Johnston intervened.

Midway through the first half, Sam Allardyce had to make a forced substitution after O’Shea suffered an ankle injury that prevented him from continuing the game.

In the 27th minute, the “blues” opened the scoring. Marcos Alonso took a perfect direct free kick and the ball bounced off the crossbar. Fortunately for the hosts, she returned to Pulisic and the American had the easiest task of scoring on the empty net.

Seconds later, Thiago Silva fouled in front of his own penalty area and received a second yellow card, leaving his team on a reduced squad.

The problem for Allardyce continued. Branislav Ivanovic, who came on as a substitute, suffered a sprain and was also forcibly replaced.

Towards the end of the half, Reese James twice had the opportunity to threaten the UBA door, but Johnston thwarted his attempts.

Instead, in the overtime, the guests totally surprised Chelsea. In just 3 minutes, Mateusz Pereira was a complete turnaround for the “tordos”. The Brazilian regained parity with an excellent transfer kick, and shortly thereafter technically outlasted Mandy on the ground for the second time.

Chelsea started aggressively after the break and in the 54th minute Alonso fired a shot from close range which, however, was deflected off the crossbar by Ajay.

After an hour of play, Dian came out in a good shooting position, but the shot fell within Mandy’s reach and the guard managed to deflect it.

Just 120 seconds later, the guests staged a dangerous attack from the right, in which the ball focused on Callum Robinson. The striker fired from the air and left the Senegalese “blues” goalkeeper in place – 1: 3.

The “Zorzales” did not stop attacking and in the 68th minute Mbaye Dian also registered his name among the scorers.

Mason Mount quickly returned a goal in the 71st, but this was not enough to allow the Londoners to reach at least one point.

Callum Robinson made Chelsea’s nightmare even bigger at the end, when with his second goal of the match he formed the final score: 2: 5.
