Manchester United is very close to the surprising attraction of former Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani, Sky Sports exploded.
The 33-year-old is a free agent after spending seven seasons in the French capital and is in talks with the Red Devils to get to Old Trafford. His contract is expected to be for 2 years, as the Uruguayan wants.
Cavani will bring an additional option in United’s attack, having scored 187 goals in 276 appearances for the PSG side. The fact that no transfer fee is paid for it is also an advantage for the English grandmaster.
The question, however, is to what extent he can be a good alternative in the first position, after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hoped to land Jaden Sancho or Usman Dembele.
The fact is, however, that over the years United have taken established names for their attack, as many years ago Henrik Larson came to the team in a similar fashion, and recently Zlatan Ibrahimovic also performed well.
