Autumn rains start on Tuesday

On Sunday, the sun will appear more often than on Saturday. In the morning in the western and central Danube valley and in the lower regions of the country there are foggy conditions or low clouds. During the day in the central and western regions the clouds will decrease, in the east it will remain more dense. Temperatures in the warm part of the day will be in the 10-15 degree range. In the mountains it will be sunny in the higher parts, with loose clouds in the lower regions and with morning fogs in the valleys. Temperatures: 3 to 10 degrees with cold wind.

After the morning fog, relatively sunny weather is expected on Monday with low temperatures in the first hours and daily values ​​between 10 and 15 degrees. The first day of the new week will be the warmest.

From Tuesday to Thursday, the country will be affected by a Mediterranean cyclone with a center passing southwest of us. The wind will intensify. More significant amounts of precipitation are expected in western Bulgaria, mainly south of the Balkans. It will snow in the mountains of the southwest. Forecast models allow for snow cover of up to 15-20 centimeters in Rila. The weather will remain unstable until the end of the week with rainfall during the weekends.

Vidin, Pleven, Ruse and Gorna Oryahovitsa are the cities with dust pollution above the permissible norms in the last hours. Due to the lack of wind and fog, the pollutants will remain in higher concentrations at the beginning of the new week.
