The Minister of Education and Science, Krassimir Valchev, issued an order to continue distance learning in an electronic environment through the use of information and communication technologies for students from 5th to 12th grade in the period of January 4 from 2021 to January 31. 2021
Minister Valchev’s order is for all the country’s students from 5th to 12th grade and was issued in connection with an amendment to an order from Prof. Dr. Kostadin Angelov – Minister of Health, to extend the term of the temporary introduced. anti-epidemic measures on the territory of Bulgaria until January 31, 2021
“I order in the period between 04.01.2021 and 31.01.2021 the education of students from 5th to 12th grade, enrolled in the form of day, night, extramural, individual and combined education and in an education system dual, which is carried out, as far as possible, remotely in an electronic environment using the means of information and communication technologies, ”reads today’s order from Minister Krassimir Valchev.
The Minister noted that the order was issued due to the need to take measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 in order to guarantee the life and health of students, teachers and other school personnel.
Students in grades 1-4 will return for classroom training in schools beginning January 4, 2021.
