The intensified control by the Sofia police and CGM continues to comply with measures such as the use of masks in vehicles and metro stations.
Due to infractions related to non-compliance with measures such as consumption on site and non-compliance remotely, it was decided to reduce the working day of the Christmas market to 8:00 p.m. Sofia’s operational headquarters also considered requests for other outdoor events. They are only allowed at a guaranteed distance between the stands and only the sale of packaged food will be allowed. Intensified inspections of outlets will continue.
To avoid crowds, the Christmas tree lights will be turned on on 1/7 pm December / no concert program.
