General practitioner Dr. Marin Marinov, for to whom BLIC announced they had lost a one-day battle with COVID-19, had a slight improvement in his condition the day before, the hospital said.

He was admitted to MHAT-Silistra on 08.25.2020. in the OAIL ward, in serious condition.

This is the first doctor from the Silistra region to lose the fight against the contagious disease. Dr. Marin Marinov is a longtime general practitioner, a dedicated professional, and an exceptional person who cared for his patients with dignity and responsibility.

The management and staff of MHAT – Silistra, express their sincere condolences to the relatives of Dr. Marinov.

Dr. Marin Marinov has been a partner in the Silistra Health Insurance Fund since the start of the health reform in Bulgaria twenty years ago. The patients who have entrusted their own health and that of their children by choosing Dr. Marinov as their personal physician are currently 4,734 people.

RHIF Silistra informs that Dr. Marinov’s patients have the right immediately, outside the regulated deadlines for re-enrollment, to make a new choice of personal physician to take care of their health.
