One officer was killed and another injured when a car collided with a barricade in front of the United States Congress. Police opened fire and killed the suspect in the attack.

The Capitol complex was locked up shortly after 1 a.m. local time (8 p.m. Bulgarian time) on Friday, after a car crashed into an enclosure.

“Satan’s rule over us is over”: The forward was a football star who was drugged by his college roommates, paranoidized him, went to Africa and decided to become a member of the Islamic Nation.

According to authorities, after the collision the driver got out of the car and pointed a knife at the guards. Then the police opened fire.

The attacker of the US congressional complex is Noah Green, 25, from the state of Indiana, announced US television NBC.

He was a supporter of the Nation of Islam movement, which advocates for the betterment of African Americans. However, behind this official facade, the “Nation of Islam” preaches the superiority of the black race over the white.

Authorities did not describe the attack as a terrorist attack.

On his Facebook page, 25-year-old Noah Green reports that he has lost his job and is seeking spiritual guidance, NBC reports.

The police officer who was killed in the attack near the United States Congress was also reported to have served in the Capitol Police for 18 years.

Green graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport in 2019 and has a bachelor’s degree in finance.

President Joe Biden issued a statement emphasizing that he and First Lady Jill Biden were devastated by the news of the attack, the BBC reported.

Joe Biden also ordered the White House flags lowered in half in honor of the dead police officer.

The attack denounced the mobilization of the National Guard and the closure of streets in the area. Capitol workers have been urged to stay away from windows and find a safe place.

It is believed that there were few people in the building due to the Easter weekend.

The enclosures on the Capitol’s outer perimeter were recently removed, but the interiors remained.

The increased security measures were in effect since the assault on the Capitol in January by supporters of then-President Donald Trump, recalls BNR.

During the attack, hundreds clashed with security guards, stormed the building and threatened lawmakers. One in uniform died as a result of the assault, as did four others who were involved or nearby.
