Serena Williams is once again the No. 1 issue in tennis, but not because of her Australian Open victory over Laura Sigemund with 6: 1, 6: 1.
The American especially impressed with the team with which she took to the Melbourne track. The 23-time Grand Slam champion appeared with a colorful bodysuit on her body, but with only one long leg.
Tight asymmetric equipment was logically the main topic of the post-match press conference. Williams revealed that the inspiration came from legendary athlete Florence Griffith-Joyner, who died in 1998.

“Yes, I was inspired by FloJo when I was little. She was a wonderful athlete and an incredible athlete. She was constantly changing her style and choosing amazing visions. We made some changes and I think it turned out very good,” Williams said.
Back in 2002 at the US Open, Serena appeared on the court with the so-called “cat suit” on her body. He repeated it at Roland Garros 2018, when the team was completely in black, and Williams said he felt like a “superhero.”
